Description

The Help Call 9-1-1 DVD presents important information about using 9-1-1 in a format that captivates pre-teens while expressing the importance of proper application! Students learn all aspects of when and how to use 9-1-1 services.

The video is produced in an engaging format that appeals to pre-adolescents and adolescents. Dramatic recreations of real life scenarios show teens the right times to use 9-1-1. The scenarios include what to do if someone is sick or injured or if someone attempts to enter the house while the teen is home alone.

The video also shows interviews with actual 9-1-1 dispatchers. This is done to illustrate what happens on the other end of the phone. They are shown how enhanced 9-1-1 allows the address and other important information correlating with the phone you are calling to appear on screen for the dispatcher so that they are able to find you in the event of an emergency. The video also explains the consequences of making a prank call to 9-1-1.

Keep children safe in the event of an emergency by giving them the information they need.
