Description
This information card warns audiences of all ages about the dangers of Inhalant abuse. That the sniffing or “huffing” of fumes from household products, aerosols, solvents, and other common chemicals is so potentially dangerous that users have died on their first experiment with it. Audiences will learn about the short and long term effects of inhalants. Ranging from possibly permanent loss of bladder and bowel control to irreversible brain and organ damage. Also, blood disease, heart attacks and even sudden death. The card also covers the signs of inhalant abuse. The strong anti-use message includes a series of suggestions on how to say no to someone considering experimentation with huffing.
These cards are a smaller, pocket sized version of the matching “Inhalants” displays. Together with the display makes this card an easy companion piece to hand out after a presentation. Use them as a leave behind or as a stand alone prevention tool. Don’t let an inhalant be the last breath you take!
